Putting on a brave face: Jennie Garth spotted without wedding ring for first time after announcing split from Peter Facinelli Read more: http://www.d

Last week it was announced that she and husband Peter Facinelli were ending their 11-year marriage.

And today 90210 star Jennie Garth was seen out in public for the first time without her wedding ring on.
The 39-year-old actress appeared to be putting on a brave face and smiled at the cameras as she left a building in Beverly Hills and headed to her car.

Jennie, who was filming her reality show Little Bit Country, when she split from Facinelli also flashed a peace sign as she got into her car.

In a new clip from the upcoming series posted to ETonline last week the actress speaks out about the spit.

She said: 'Being out here on my own with the girls is not going to be easy, but I know it's the
right thing for us right now.

'I feel it in my heart. I'm excited about what's next.'

Last week
just hours after announcing the end of his marriage, a glum Twilight star Peter Facinelli took a motorbike ride in Los Angeles.

After announcing their divorce in a statement last Tuesday, website Scallywag & Vagabond alleged Facinelli was having a 'torrid affair' with an unidentified Canadian woman.
The 38-year-old actor was minus hi
s wedding band and looked stony-faced following his split from wife of 11 years, Beverly Hills 90210 star Jennie Garth.
However last Thursday Facinelli and Garth strongly denied there was a third party involved, and said that the rumours were 'hurtful.'

'There are rumors out the
re which are completely untrue and hurtful to our family,' they said in a statement to People magazine.

'We just want to make
it very clear – there are no third parties involved.'

In their report Scallywag & Vagabond claimed that the actor was having an affair with woman, who was said to be in her late 20s, whom Facinelli met whilst filming Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn in Vancouver.
'Peter had been seei
ng another woman for quite some time,' a source told the website.
'They (Jennie and Peter) tried to make it work for the sake of their children and Jennie played housewife for as long as she could but finally had enough.'
The website alleged that the Garth knew about the affair.

'Jennie knew. As a lot of couples do, they simply grew apart,' the insider told the site.

According to the website, the pair allegedly separated last year in summer for a short period of time, in order to try and save their marriage.

They claimed that Jennie lived with her children in the family home while Peter rented a home nearby.

The actor and original Beverly Hills, 90210 icon, 39, confirmed they had split to Us Weekly in a statement.

'While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children,' Facinelli and Garth told the magazine.
'We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.'
They have between them Luca Bella, 14, Lola Ray, aged nine, and five-year-old Fiona Eve.
It was first marriage for Facinelli and the second for What I Like About You's Garth, who was married to Daniel Clark from 1994 to 1996.
They pair met on the set of An Unfinished Affair in 1996, before marrying in 2001 at Our Lady of Montecito Church in Carmel, California, with two of Garth’s 90210 co-stars Tori Spelling and Tiffani Thiessen as bridesmaids.
Facinelli played Carlisle Cullen in Twilight, based on the book by Stephenie Meyer.
According to an interview. he almost didn’t read for the role.
He recalled his agent saying: '"Do you want to do a vampire movie?” And I was like, “No.” I was totally thinking blood and guts and bats in caves, like some kind of horror movie. They literally talked me into reading the book and I actually enjoyed the book a lot.'
Facinelli reprised his role in the sequels of the film, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

He also stars as Dr. Fitch Cooper in the Showtime dark comedy series Nurse Jackie.
Meanwhile Garth has a new reality show, Jennie Garth: Little Bit Country, which chronicles the family’s move to a California farm, ready to debut on CMT.

It will no doubt feature the marriage difficulties.

Facinelli and daughter Luca Bella arrived together for last night’s Hunger Games premiere in L.A, he made no mention of the split.

Wedding couple tell of Isle of Wight castle fire drama

A bride and groom told how they were left with just the clothes on their backs after a fire ripped through their "fairytale" venue on the Isle of Wight.

Robert and Alex Ballard escaped from the blaze, at Ryde Castle Hotel, along with their 50 guests on Saturday.

The couple from Hampshire lost wedding gifts in the blaze, which is thought to have been sparked by fireworks.

The newlyweds and their guests caught a ferry back to Portsmouth as six fire crews tackled the blaze overnight.

The fire caused the 18-bedroom hotel, which overlooks Ryde Esplanade and Harbour, to partially collapse.

Owner Greene King said: "It certainly appears possible that the fireworks were the cause but we will have to wait for a full investigation by the fire service to be completed to get all the facts."

A spokesman for the Isle of Wight Fire Service said the extent of the damage to the roof would make reaching a definitive conclusion problematic.

Mrs Ballard, 21, told how they had "fallen in love" with the venue after seeing it advertised on the internet and went about organising the £6,000 wedding.

She said: "We thought it was perfect, a fairytale venue so we both saved for about a year-and-a-half to pay for it.

'Panic attack'
"The day was fantastic, it was so perfect I cried a little. We had the fireworks from the roof top then everyone went back into the function room for a disco and buffet."
The couple, from Gosport, recalled how a fire alarm was activated while they were on the dance floor.

Mr Ballard, 23, said: "The hotel staff said there was no fire in the building and suspected a guest had set the alarm off for a joke.

"But then it began ringing again five minutes later and the staff said everyone had to get out."

Alex's matron of honour Jo Green said: "I went to get Robert's eight-year-old niece Emily-May out of bed - everyone was panicking.

"No one knew what was going on downstairs but upstairs we could see the smoke."

Mrs Ballard said: "I just picked up my two-year-old daughter Lilly and left the castle. At first it didn't seem to be a big fire but it just got worse and worse. I didn't know if my dad had got out OK at the time.

"Thankfully no one was injured but we've probably lost our wedding certificate, about half of our wedding presents and all of the belongings we had with us, as have our guests."

By midnight, the wedding party was given shelter at nearby St James's Church, which supplied bedding for the children and cups of tea for the adults.

Mrs Ballard was also handed a set of pyjamas to allow her to change out of her £400 wedding dress.

By about 02:30, the guests were on a boat back to the mainland after the Isle of Wight Council paid for taxis and Wightlink paid for the ferry tickets.

Mrs Ballard said: "Everyone was so kind. The church provided us with tea and coffee, blankets as well as milk and nappies for Lilly and pyjamas for me so I could take my wedding dress off.

"We finally all got back to Robert's dad's house in Gosport at about 4am.

It feels like two different days, before the fire it was perfect then it was disastrous. I know they say you want a day to remember but not like that."

The couple, who did not take out wedding insurance, do not blame anyone for the fire.

Mrs Ballard said: "It was just unfortunate. Everyone on the island including the hotel staff have been so helpful."

Mr Ballard, who works as a driver, added: "I feel like our wedding day has been stolen from us."

Utah Crash Victim Planning Wedding Proposal Dies

A Utah man injured in a car crash while returning home with an engagement ring for his girlfriend died Sunday night.

The family of Adam Goodsell, 32, announced his death in a post on a Facebook page that had been used to update his condition. Goodsell died nine days after he suffered severe head injuries after his vehicle rolled near Wellsville, Utah, about 75 miles north of Salt Lake City.

"Adam has returned to his heavenly father and mother. Rest In Peace Adam! You will always be in our hearts. We love you and are grateful to have had you in our lives," the post reads.

Family members have not responded to phone messages by The Associated Press.

The accident happened while Goodsell was returning to his home in Preston, Idaho, after purchasing an engagement ring for his girlfriend. Emergency crews found the ring in a puddle after the vehicle was towed.

Goodsell's father gave the ring to the woman, Goldie Chaney, while Goodsell was hospitalized.

In a 911 call prior to the accident, Goodsell told a dispatcher that the brakes on his Land Rover had failed and the ignition pedal was stuck.

"Yes, I am, uh, coming out of Sardine Canyon; my brakes went out; my gas pedal is stuck ..." Goodsell told the dispatcher.

The dispatcher asked for more information, but the call was cut off.

Emergency crews arrived to find the vehicle rolled into a ditch 50 yards from the edge of the road.

Utah Highway Patrol officials say the Land Rover was traveling at about 80 mph when it drove to the right side of the road, then veered to the left and hit a concrete barrier, then traveled right again and rolled off the highway.

Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Cory Thomas told The Logan Herald Journal after the accident that he found he'd seen a small gift bag inside the wrecked vehicle when he first went searching for insurance information. But by the time he was told there might be a diamond ring inside, a tow truck was already starting to pull the Land Rover from the ditch.

Thomas told emergency workers to keep an eye out for a pink or maroon bag scattered among the debris that spanned four travel lanes. Moments later, firefighters spotted the bag in the waters of the ditch.

The ring was still inside.

Sonam Kapoor: No marriage for me, please!

Sonam Kapoor is one bindaas girl. The actor has no qualms speaking her mind, regardless of who she offends. Last weekend, she attended the Ghanta Awards (which honour the worst of Bollywood) and accepted her award stating that B-towners should have a sense of humour. Yesterday, she surprised her fans again.

During an online chat, Sonam was asked who from Bollywood needed some serious fashion tips. Since Sonam has an amazing fashion sense, it is not surprising that she had a ready reply. It was the reply itself that had us laughing out loud. “A lot of people.. but they all hire stylists now and look the same,” she said. Now that’s candid speak! Sonam’s dad Anil had revealed late last year that she had contemporaries who were jealous about her style, spoke negatively about her wearing designer outfits behind her back and yet imitated her style. This is certainly a fitting reply to that!

Sonam also revealed that unlike other female actors who are busy making wedding plans and designing baby rooms, she has no interest in getting married or in having children. Does that mean she is not dating Punit Malhotra? Another B-town relationship bites the dust. So sad.

Bittoo Boss perfect launch pad for me: Pulkit Samrat Read more at: http://movies.ndtv.com/movie_story.aspx?Section=Movies&ID=ENTEN20120197125&subcat

Actor Pulkit Samrat, who is making his Bollywood debut with Bittoo Boss, a film about the journey of a wedding videographer from Punjab, says it is a perfect launch pad for him.

The 28-year-old actor-model, who rose to fame as Lakshya Virani in Ekta Kapoor's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, is hoping to make a successful transition from TV to Bollywood through this film.

"It is wholesome entertainment. I always thought that if I ever make my Bollywood debut it should be with a film which has a good story, which has emotions, romance. Bittoo Boss is all that I ever dreamt of and is the perfect launch pad for me," said Pulkit .

The actor says he had to go through several rounds of audition before finally bagging the role in the movie by debutante Supavitra Babul.

"I had to undergo several rounds of auditions. Initially, I was constantly being rejected as the role required me to look rugged and director thought I had a sophisticated look. But I worked towards the looks and convinced him finally that I can fit quite well into the role," he said.

Pulkit said he had no idea of the story when he signed the film as he was too excited to bag a lead role. v"I signed the film even without reading the script. I had no idea what the story was about. It didn't matter to me me at that time. I was so overwhelmed to get a lead in a film that I couldn't think of anything else. After waiting for so many years, I am very excited to see the dream come true," he said.

Pulkit said that he was a bit concerned with the fact that his character in the film seemed to have slight resemblance with Ranveer Singh's role in 2010 film Band Baaja Baaraat but he says he later realised that his Bittoo is a rural boy and far more charming than Ranveer's character.

"I was concerned that there might be some similarity between my character and that of Ranveer Singh's but I later realised that his character was a city boy while mine is a boy from a small town. My accent in the film is also very rustic and my Bittoo is far more charming, egoistic, erratic," Pulkit said.

The actor belongs to an affluent business family in the capital and he says he does not work for money but to pursue his passion for acting.

"I have never worked for money. My job is to entertain and I take it very seriously. That is the whole reason of my being an actor. I have always wanted to act in films. Even when I was working in Kyuki.....', I kept on hoping that one day I will get a chance to show my talent in films," he said.

Pulkit has an image of a 'chocolate boy' since the time he made his acting debut on the small screen and he says he wants to carry it forward in films as well.

"I want to maintain the chocolate boy image that I have. I want to be a romantic hero but I am also open to experimenting," he added.

The film also stars Amita Pathak, producer Kumar Mangat's daughter and will hit the theaters on April 20.
